I am a 20 years French student in
Applied Foreign Languages from the university Picardie Jules Verne of Amiens
(UPJV) in Picardie (France) and I am writing to enquire about internship
opportunities within your company.

I am currently completing a
degree in Applied Foreign Languages (law, English and Spanish), and am to graduate in
2018.

I am speaking French as a native
language, English and Spanish. I am also learning Chinese and Japanese. Thanks
to my license, I also have some skills in Marketing, management accounting and
international logistics.

A six – week work experience
period is a compulsory part of my course, and the report, which I will write
about my placement in your company, will be assessed by one of my teachers. This
six-week period is the minimum requested in order to complete my license but
the internship could be for a longer period.

While I was a student, I worked during
the summer, for three years consecutive as a commercial employee at a French
supermarket. I was charged of fresh produce department and the last year, I was
in charge of Fruits and vegetables department that gave me more
responsibilities such as administrative stuff (inventory management for example).
Also I had to be receptive in order to help our clients.

I am very keen to put into
practice everything I have learnt at university and I am writing to you because
your company seems very challenging and I am ready to use my skills for you. I
am voluntary, available, creative and reliable. I am really detail – oriented, I
have also some communication skills and I am sensitive to the well being of
clients thanks to my summer job.
